Exploring churches is both an exciting and perilous journey! 

Exciting, because the journey to find a church is not just about finding a church--it is ultimately about finding God.  There is no more exciting journey than that!

Perilous, because there are strange and dangerous ideas out there about God.

Your journey needs to be one of questioning.  Ask question after question after question.  Jesus never had a problem with people asking questions when they were genuinely looking for an answer and not an argument.

Most churches will say that they teach the Bible.  But, how can you know if that is true?  Only by reading the Bible for yourself, praying and asking God to help you to understand what you read and then by asking questions!  Do what the Bible commends the Bereans for in Acts 17:11, "They searched the Scriptures daily, to see whether those things [the teaching of the Apostle Paul] were so."

Searching for a new church home is exciting...and draining! 

The excitement comes from seeking out the place where God will begin a new chapter in your life.  A new place to serve, learn and grow.  An opportunity for a fresh start with eager anticipation to see what God has in store.

But we must admit that it is also draining.  Because coming to a new church means leaving a former church.  It means making new relationships, which is rarely easy.  And exploring what a church teaches and practices requires diligent effort.

We know that the journey is tough, but we want to make getting to know us a little easier.  Please take some time to explore this site.  You can hear messages from our Senior Pastor, learn more about what we teach and practice, get directions and service times and even learn a little more about some of the people.
