Purpose

Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) is the Men's Ministry of Avondale Bible Church. Its purpose is three-fold:
To challenge and encourage men to glorify God in three main areas:

Building up your walk
        In striving for personal purity
        In faithfulness to spiritual disciplines
        In passion for evangelism
Building up your home
        In your role as husband
        In your role as father
        In your role as a single man
Building up your church
    By utilizing
        Your talents and abilities
        Your spiritual gifts
    By becoming
        A servant-leader
        A teacher

Events and Times

Iron Sharpens Iron (Weekly)
Each Tuesday at 6:30pm, we gather for prayer and to consider God's Word as it relates to the three-fold purpose of ISI. This meeting takes place in the Mark Room.

ISI Men's Prayer Breakfast (Monthly)
On the first Saturday of each month, men gather at the church at 9am for a chance to get to know one another and to enjoy what is always a great meal. We have a time of being challenged from the Word and then commit ourselves to time in prayer for our families, our church and our leaders.
